Dr. Koehler completed his residency in Vancouver, WA and fell in love with the beautiful Northwest. He is board certified in Family medicine, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and is currently accepting patients. He sees children of all ages and adults. Hobbies include: Traveling, Skiing, Hiking, Spending time with family, Cooking, Reading, Music.

I was interrupted by my doctor because "we ran out of time", it would be helpful to know how long appointments are and it would be extremely helpful to be able to request a longer appointment

Chris and Dr. Koehler are the best! Chris is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and always gets the visit started off on the right note. Dr. Koehler is an excellent clinician who makes his patients feel heard and confident that they are being well taken care of.

This clinic has always been great. No waiting between entering clinic, to getting in with assistant, to seeing Dr Koehler. Both treat me with respect. Dr Koehler explains my concerns so I understand it. Always a pleasure to come in for an appointment.

There was an immediate and positive response to my question about a Watchman implant, with the logistics for the possible procedure put in place, plus a related Electrocardiogram procedure was set up. My PCP's schedule was full for this needed Immediate evaluation, so Dr. Koehler In the same office filled in nicely; this was the first time I met him and I feel he handled the situation very well, considering all the moving parts.

By any measure, Dr. John Koehler is an excellent primary care physician.Other aspects of the facility and personnel are excellent as well.I would be resistant to changing my health insurance Is John Koehler would not be in-network.

I dislike the new scheduling format. I have to follow up every 6 months and I usually schedule after each appointment. With also being in medical it's hard to give my employer just a few days notice for my appointments. We usually have to give 2 weeks notice. And now legacy won't allow you to schedule out appointments like medication follow ups.

Confusion at registration with appointment, I thought I was signing In and provided my new Insurance card. Receptionish thought I was just bringing In new insurance card. Recognized error 20 minutes past appointment. Dr. Koehler accommodated me by working me In. Fortunately, I only needed lab orders

I struggle with The Internet and all the negative beliefs about statins. I now am retaking Rosuvastatin. But I am now retaking it due to Dr Koehler explanation.

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Koehler.His clinical expertise combined with his kindness makes him the best!He is prepared and efficient in his delivery but always makes my father smile as he inquires about how he is feeling. Dr. Koehler has cared for my father and my mother and by his care and excellent communication with me, has allowed me to care for both parents in age in place at home.I really can't express the level of gratitude I have.

Your process for scheduling a visit is bizarre. I first called to make an appointment for my annual physical and was told you only scheduled out 3 days which did not work for my schedule. I called 2 weeks later and was told the next possible appointment date was 3 weeks out. Which is it? I think you need to figure it out! I am retired but have an active life. I need to schedule routine visits in advance. Something is wrong with how you schedule appointments!!!!

Scheduling the apt is ridiculous. I own a business and I would never set up scheduling like the one you have.I had to schedule an apt to schedule my apt in a three day window. I am busy person, and time is important to me and the scheduling was the biggest waste of time. Please go back to how we use to schedule apts.

It was all good I was seen right away, the new receptionist, her name is, Liz was very kind and warm, and friendly. Chris, who did my vitals and updated my information on the computer was friendly and real easy to talk to and a good listener. I feel very blessed to have Dr. Koehler as my primary care doctor. When I first arrived, I noticed a man that was loud and irritable and not happy, and I also noticed how the receptionist treated him with kindness and respect. Kudos to the whole team :-)

Dr. Kohler is great. He always listen. Shakes my hand before and after he sees me. Always has a smile and is a good clinician as well. He is good at treating the cause and not the symptoms. Extremely satisfied. Also Chris the medical assitant is also very personable and has a cool vibe and puts you at ease. He's like a good friend and easy to talk to. They make a good duo. I wouldn't change a thing.

This was a first time appointment with a new provider establishing a new Primary Care Physician, getting baseline health info, getting acquainted, etc. It also coincided with the doctor's appraisal regarding a severe injury I sustained the previous month.Dr. Koehler was thoughtful and thorough, asked questions, listened, replied with valuable observations and recommendations and made appropriate referrals. I felt seen, heard, respected, and attended to.

There is always some anxiety when seeing your doctor. Do I really need to see the doctor? Will an issue be found etc. However, I always come away from seeing Dr. Koehler and team, as being listened to, respected, and receiving thoughtful professional advice.
