About Me:

Board-certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine, Dr. Wood is a primary care physician at Legacy Medical Group-Northwest. She received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency in internal medicine at Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis in 2013. She completed board certification in obesity medicine in 2019. She enjoys treating culturally diverse patients from the ages of 18+ and particularly enjoys helping both her own patients and partner patients with diabetes type 2, weight loss/maintenance. Prior to medical school, she was in the U.S. Army in various roles but always worked in Healthcare and Healthcare administration where she most enjoyed helping and mentoring others. Personal interests: searching for that perfect restaurant and running to make up for the restaurant habit. Dr. Wood is not accepting new patients at this time.
