About Me:

I chose to specialize in Colon and Rectal Surgery because I enjoy the vast variety of disease processes I am able to care for. I enjoy helping my patients, who are often in very difficult and unexpected circumstances, be able to effectively navigate through the clinical options and opportunities that are currently available. My goal is to create treatment plans with my patients, which are then specifically tailored for each individual. This includes multidisciplinary care and collaboration to enact a patient-centric care pathway.My training began at University of Maryland where I graduated with my Doctor of Medicine Degree. I went on to complete my General Surgery training at University of Florida, where I developed my appreciation of the Colon and Rectal Surgery specialty.I completed my Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship at OHSU.
