About Me:

Kit is a Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in a wellness approach that focuses on the whole person to promote health and happiness, and not only treating problems as they arise. He partners with patients and families to offer the most up-to-date and evidence-based medicine. He loves spending quality time with his family, dog, and cat; and enjoys hiking, fishing, boating, cooking delicious and healthy food, gardening, and has an inquisitive personality that finds many things interesting.

Dr. Houghton has been very caring in everything about my health, it's just hard for a new Dr. To understand a new patient until all updates have been obtained of the patients past medical history. Dr. Houghton has been extremely helpful in every aspect of my health care. I appreciate his time and support in getting me back on track with my medications and labs that were needed

Christopher Houghton was simply amazing. I received better care and education about my disease from Christopher than I have from all of my previous Doctors combined. He was fantastic.

We had to wait on the labs before putting any proposed treatments in place. Which I understood. He gave me a referral to help with my lungs and breathing situation
