About Me:

Kristina believes in providing up-to-date, evidence-based medicine tailored to meet each patient’s specific-needs. Her philosophy is that healthcare should be a partnership between the patient and the provider, and that each patient should be treated as a whole individual with their own values, goals, and aspirations to reach their highest quality of life. Her goal is to assist the patient to make educated and informed decisions, so that they can take an active and engaged role in their health. She enjoys taking care of minor injuries, as well as chronic conditions, and treating all ages. She is a member of the Honor Society of Nursing-Sigma Theta Tau International and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kristina is the proud mother of a son and daughter, and enjoys spending time with her kids, gardening, reading, and playing with her dog.

This was my first visit to this clinic. I had a lot to talk about and we ran out of the visit parameters, but otherwise I felt like it was a good visit

I am very thankful I was able to see Kristina. I had a very positive experience with her. There are so many positive traits That I don't have enough room to list them here. But she is very caring and Truly cares about my welfare and my health. She takes the time to listen carefully she is very thorough And knowledgeable. And has a very pleasant bedside manner.

This Dr has been very thorough and I've been very impressed with her care. She addresses all of the different issues I'm dealing with and shows empathy. I feel like I have a clear path to better health after a checkup and I'd recommend her to anyone. A+++

I'm VERY impressed with Kristina Schaefer. She is a wonderful, thorough, knowledgeable practitioner. She communicates really well with both my Mom and I, even with my Mom's limitations. We are so grateful that Kristina is her provider. Legacy is giving quality care to my Mom and it's greatly appreciated.

There's now a co-pay to see my provider. It wasn't there before the contract renewal. That's not right.

Absolutely appreciate Dr. Kristina's care and how she encourages me to be in charge of my wellbeing. She provides demonstration for preventative care that I can do at home and follows up with encouragement to call if I have any concerns. Even though it was nit her responsibility to listen to my concerns about Legacy and Regence she was very helpful giving me ways to share my concerns with the right people. She is a great Dr. And I have signed my aging mother up with Kristina and am very sure my mother will get good care and the help she needs.

I was a life-long Kaiser patient. I have an extensive health history, including childhood trauma. I'm the best I've ever been both physically and emotionally, however I was nervous to meet a new provider. Kristina took the time to listen. She exhibited patience, kindness and respect. She's helping me navigate accessing two specialists. I feel very grateful that she spent a significant amount of time with me. I never felt shame or embarrassment. You are welcome to share these words with her. I went home and told everyone how excited I was to find such a great provider!

Not happy about Legacy and Regence standoff on medical payments. Trying to establish a relationship with a doctor If I have to move to a different doctor for medical coverage I won't be excited about re-shifting back later. How about dividing increases over several years. With patient premiums locked in for the year does legacy really expect the insurance company to absorb 24% in one year. Really!

Having relocated to the area and having to re-establish medical care from primary provider and beyond Dr. Kristina has been a godsend. Her attention to the whole picture and the minute details therein is truly remarkable. I could not have found a better solution to my health care needs.

I never found any replies to my question in My chart about the meaning of the test I had. I didn't understand everything and I asked for a clarification. I had a very difficult time getting my prescription from provider to pharmacy. I spent a lot of time using my chart to try and find out what happened to my prescription. I gave up and called the office to tell them the pharmacy said they didn't get any orders. I am hard of hearing so I thought my chart would make it was to communicate but I seemed to have fallen into the black hole of confusion because I didn't find any answer to my question.

This was a very thorough exam and visit. Dr Schaefer asked multiple questions and listened to my answers . My concerns were addressed and I felt more than satisfied with her orders for additional tests.

The reason PA Schaefer was not aware of medical history was the other dr's office did not send the info to Legacy. PA Schaefer caught that I might have a stress fracture in my foot; in fact I have at least 3. Hopefully in 6 weeks the fractures will heal & walking will no longer be painful. YEAH! Foot dr was very impressed also.

Overall, this office has been extremely efficient, and caring in a personal way. The professionalism throughout the office has been a gift to have as a patient. I have referred to this office before and I would do that again with regards to this office I have no complaints And Kristina Schaefer is very professional and detailed and personable. Which is exactly what you want in a physician grateful to have her as my team leader of health.

I arrived for my appointment a half-hour early and was seen right away by my provider's assistant. I felt that this was above and beyond my expectations and probably expedited the length of my visit.

I feel that due to my good insurance, tests that I DON'T need are done. Also the merger with OHSU is a horrible move. They are a political group, and have a history of very poor care.

I had a really good visit. The Doctor treated me very well. They made sure I understood everything we talked about. Giving me extra pamphlets to read online for one of my problems I have. Making herself accountable for me to check in each month on my progress to reach my goals. She was very concerned about my skin condition, and made a Urgent Request for me to see a Dermatologist. I felt good after my appointment that I got done what I needed to get done.
