About Me:

Michael Tewfik, MD focuses his practice on adults and teenagers, age 15 and older. He also has additional training in medical orthopedics. He is also a part of Legacy's teaching faculty. Dr. Tewfik is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for providing quality care to his patients with diabetes. Hobbies include skiing, cycling, hiking, camping and photography.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Tewfik, He is always so very good at listening to my issues and helping me understand what our treatment will be and why. He always remembers all my health history and always asked about it and how things are going. If I have lab work or send am email with questions, he is very quick to contact me with results or answers to my email questions. I have had many people tell me how lucky I am to have a doctor who really cares and listens, not sure what I would do without him as my Primary.

Dr. Tewfik is always thorough and never rushes our appointments. He checks to ensure He's covered all of your medical questions or concerns before ending the appointment. In my experience, that is very rare to find in a provider. We need more Dr. Tewfik's at Legacy.
