About Me:

Miriam obtained both her Masters and Clinical Doctorate from the University of Southern California. During her pediatric residency, she completed the USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Here, Miriam learned the value of interdisciplinary treatment and aims to work closely with families in providing client centered care. Prior to her employment with Legacy, Miriam worked as a therapist in pediatric rehabilitation, clinics specializing in sensory integration, early intervention and public schools. She has traveled between Ecuador and Ghana six times to provide therapy services to both children and adults with a variety of diagnoses, lecture at local universities and aide in developing new programs at schools and rehabilitation facilities. In her free time, Miriam enjoys traveling, cooking, attending storytelling events and exploring Oregon.
