About Me:

Mustaquim Chowdhury, MD is a board-certified internal medicine specialist with professional interest in infectious diseases and preventive medicine. He is native to Bangladesh, where he earned his medical degree at Dhaka Medical College, University of Dhaka. In his home country, he worked as a primary care physician, gaining experience in many areas of clinical medicine. After moving to the U.S., he earned a master’s degree in public health from the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and then went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia. He moved to Oregon in 2000 where he has been practicing since. Dr. Chowdhury is not currently taking new patients.

Everyone in the Clinic is nice, respectful and helpful. The Dr and his assistant are the best that I have found in my medical care. People like them made life easy and give prestigious to your institution.

Short wait time in waiting room. Receptionist offered information about insurance concerns ..nurse friendly and efficient..lab on site for blood work very convenient

Dr Chowdhury is the best.Your phone tree system is difficult and terminates calls on its own. I had to call four times to get through.

Wonderful doctor, very aware of my medical history as he spent most of his time looking at and commenting on the data.As a suggestion, I would have liked him to have asked me a few personal questions directly, such as how are you feeling, is anything concerning you, having any pain, etc. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to the screen. The personal attention would have been further appreciated. However, I am grateful for his visit with me and his suggestions about taking Statins.

This was my first meeting with Doctor Chowdhury. My previous doctor left the field of medicine 5 months ago. It Is very difficult to find a new primary doctor these days. I am lucky that Dr. Chowdhury had an opening.

My first appointment with Dr. Chowdhury has been an extremely helpful for me. The amount of care and concerns he expressed is a rare treat nowadays! I wish I had come to his care many years ago. I am hoping that many of my problems will not get serious attention!

Dr. Explained the findings of my MRI and what it meant. He ordered an MRI of my neck to address the problem found in my neck. And addressed the possible treatments. He was very thorough.

No problems with Physician visit. Lab work was ordered. Wait time in the laboratory was unreasonably long. They were not very busy But the wait time was unreasonable.

Dr. M.F.Chowdhury is in my opinion an excellent physician, he has always been easy to talk to and explains everything in terms that are easy to understand. In the years that my wife and I have gone to him, we are very satisfied with his professionalism and accuracy in discussing our problems. Furthermore, his staff are all beyond reproach.

New patient visit. The MA was very thorough. Dr. Chowdhury listened carefully, covered all of my questions, ordered needed labs and new meds as needed and was very professional. I am glad he will be my new PCP.

After almost 18 years with my prior primary care doctor, due to a merge of clinics I found myself not covered by my Insurance for the new practice. I am pleased that Dr.Chowdhury was accepting new patients. I have been with him at the Westside Office for the past 8 months and am extremely pleased with Dr. Chowdhury and his support team there!

Unfortunately I work 4-10 hour shifts and I fell a sleep when dr came in I didn't mention lower back pain and lower abdominal pain, k numbness in arms and legs swelling of ankle and inability to cope with things. Called mental health place and they're like you have a job you're doing great. I am not doing great but have bills to pay. Thank you for appointment but need to further discuss some things.

Nothing bad. The dr is getting to know me and is quite understanding of my needs. His nurse is also great. Gave me Covid and flu shot w/o having to come back

He kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me finish speaking. Every time I tried to list my symptoms I would get interrupted. I finally gave up.

I like this provider. I think a little more explanation on why I needed statins would have been helpful. My daughter who will be in residency next year as a ND wasn't concerned until she saw my tests. All I was told was that my tests indicate I should go on statins. I had to read my chart on the portal to see that I was at a 21% risk in 10 years of having a cardiac event. It makes sense but I'm going to try diet and exercise first to see if I can get the numbers to come down. However given my age and plugging different numbers in to the ASDVD app, I'm not sure how to bring the numbers down to a lower percentage.

This was my first visit with this doctor after my previous primary care doc left. It took 3 months to get into him but I was fine in the meantime. I appreciate being able to establish myself as a patient with him and continue to use the clinic on Cedar Hills Blvd in Beaverton

I had a wellness visit; he frankly doesn't welcome any additional information; he takes it from the survey. As we finished, he said "see you in a year." The implication was don't bother me unless I need a RX. He is pleasant, polite, yet misses the opportunity to welcome me as a patient. When I did have an issue, I went to Urgent Care.
