He then served four years at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana as an internist & chief of Internal Medicine until 1995. Dr. Lau then went back into training to become a cardiologist at Dartmouth (NH). After his interventional cardiology training was completed in 1999, he moved to the Oregon and practiced in Eugene & Springfield for 20 years. He and his extended family relocated to the Hillsboro/Portland area in 2019 to enjoy all the educational and cultural opportunities this area has to offer. Outside of work, his life is centered around his children, wife and father. They are fond of good books, movies and music, as well as trying out new recipes and exploring the Northwest.
