The Dr did not want to examine me and had already made up his mind that he could not help me. Told me that I need to talk to another Dr.

The doctor didn't listen to me very well and was completely unhelpful with my problem. Despite being a specialist he seemed to know nothing about my health condition and didn't provide any solutions or treatment options for me.

The receptionists knew of me and kept me in the top of their head to get me in to see Dr. Doshi once there was a cancellation as my appointment was around two months out. Dr. Doshi provided me with good advice to keep my liver going. He answered the question I had thoroughly and straightforward. I like him.

I felt like he didn't really listen to what I had to say after me telling him that I am clean and sober he turned around and asked me if I drink then I told him again that I was multiple years clean and sober and the next thing out of his mouth was asking me if I drink I would never recommend somebody who pays so little attention to anybody

I hired Dr. Doshi after I fired my last GI doctor due to a disconnect with his care. I had severe pain on my right side. I've had several Diverticulitis attacks over the years and I knew this is what I was experiencing. Dr. Doshi poked my abdominal area only two times. He then told me that it is impossible to have right side Diverticulitis. If I were to have it, it would be very, very rare. He then came across like I was lying about my pain. Hence the inadequate and rushed examination. He ordered a CT Scan which would be done by appointment only. I was to wait until imaging contacted me. Dr. Doshi should have sent me to the hospital to have a CT Scan done THAT day. My other providers did. My right side pain increased that evening and I ended up in ER the next morning. To my surprise, sarcastically speaking, my diagnosis was right side Acute Diverticulitis. I'm taking antibiotics and pain medication for the next few days.

The only problem I had with Dr. Sheeten was, my honesty about my life choices. Seemed to make him a bit short and disrespectful towards me, however my next visit was very good... so I will speak with him my next on this.

This was my first visit with this provider who was recommended by my primary care physician. He was very knowledgeable regarding the reason I was there. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I'm not too sure about exactly what to do.I was diagnosed with gall stones by a first doctor. He prescribed some medication that according to me, "the patient", is working wonderfully. Then I was instructed to go see this other doctor "the provider" while speaking to him, he says "I don't even know why they sent you to me" then in the course of the conversation, I explained about the pills and how they were working wonderfully. He said "well, they shouldn't be, just quit taking them"He went on to say that elective surgery was probably/ most likely the best option that I had and wanted to refer me to a surgeon.Hmm, let me ponder this for a minute, pills that work for about $10.00 a pop or some really expensive elective surgery that the insurance would probably not even cover. All the while, the only thing that both doctors seemed to be on the same page with each other was pushing for a prostrate exam.I'm no doctor and have no claims to any medical experience, but, I'm positive beyond any shadow of a doubt that gall stones have nothing to do with the prostrate.

It was my bad I didn't follow up yearly with Doshi in last two years . Unfortunately at time of visit he did not receive all my hospitalization medical records, so he (not his fault) didn't have all the information. He throughly listened and delve into my records at time of visit. Explained my condition well, answered all my questions and as he always has been professional and compassionate.

Dr. Doshi was extremely dismissive of my health problems and did not seem slightly interested in helping find solutions for helping me, as he walked into the appointment saying there is nothing he can do to help. When reading the medical notes from my visit, there were multiple discrepancies, such as him stating I had no abdominal pain upon an exam when I stated that I did infact feel sharp pain when pressing on part of my abdomen. Dr. Doshi was also not willing to listen to my parent either when he expressed concern, as I've had stomach problems throughout my life and have a family history of problems on both sides of my family. Dr. Doshi did offer to do an endoscopy, but said and I quote, "we will likely find nothing." Dr. Doshi's lack of empathy and dissmissivness of my ongoing health problems lead me to believe that even if I did choose to schedule an appointment for the procedure with him, he is not interested in looking as thoroughly as he should. I have never been so disappointed, as I have waited almost three weeks to get into see a specialist and living with extreme nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain everyday for months with no end in sight has been debilitating and has put more pressure on those around me as I struggle to get through everyday tasks. Being treated as though I was making up my problems or my problems come from outside factors that do not make sense was hurtful and harmful. I do hope that Dr. Doshi takes my experience with him and sees how damaging it was and does better for him next patients going forward, as all patients deserve a doctor who listens to them and helps advocate for them and not let them leave a visit, crying and hopeless with less answers then they have before. I would be happy to talk further of my concerns with someone.

The process of the appt was unclear from the first call. When I came in for my first visit from the time I entered the office until the time I walked out every single interaction with the staff was cringy. Each person was uptight, and condescending. The nurse who Intially was In the room with me was asking about substance use and had a tone as If I were being dishonest. Dr Doshi talked to me in a manner that made me feel like he was talking down to me, as if I didnt know my body. He also Made statements about my medical history that was inaccurate and making me wonder if he had the incorrect patient info. He seemed bored with the practice and I was an inconvenience. Then a female practitioner came in with the last kick-in-the-pants of snotty-uppity vibe that was sealed the deal that I was not trusting my health with this office moving forward. There was not one friendly person in the office. I feel bad for the nice people who have to work with the snotty uppity ones.

This doctor is certainly knowledgeable, but his bedside manner is not great. Every time I visit, there is very little positive, only worst case scenario. I appreciate his medical expertise, but I often just need reassurance that what we are doing for treatment is working or the best course of action.
