This was a follow up on testing results for a new diagnosis. Dr. Grund, and team, are VERY sympathetic, helpful, and gracious. Dr. Grund is really on top of his game, and I'm so glad that he's handling my breathing issues.

During my initial phone conversation to set up the appointment, and during the reminder call, it was stressed that I needed to arrive 20 minutes before my appointment time (arrive at 9:40 am for a 10:00 am appointment). I asked the person who called to remind me of the appointment if I still needed to arrive 20 minutes before my appointment if I had completed all of the check-in "paperwork" on MyHealth. She told me I did so that the medical assistant could get me into the exam room, take my vitals, confirm some information, etc so that the provider could see me promptly at 10:00. I arrived at 9:40, was asked two screening questions related to Covid, and then spent 25-30 minutes waiting in the lobby...time that I could have used to do something far more productive. Once I was taken to the exam room and the MA completed her tasks, Dr. Grund arrived shortly thereafter. I realize that providers must deal with emergencies and other unexpected events in their day, so I hope this isn't the norm, but my time is equally valuable and I feel it was wasted, especially since I completed all of the check-in "paperwork" on line, as requested. On a positive note, I could not have been more impressed by Dr. Grund's thoroughness and attention to detail. I have a somewhat complex medical history and, although this was my first visit with him, he was extremely familiar with the details of my medical history. He was very patient when answering my questions during the appointment and in a way that was easily understood. And, finally, his after-visit summary was phenomenal! I've never seen a more accurate, in-depth, and detailed summary of my background, the reason for my visit, and the recommended plan to move forward. He sets the standards very high for other providers to meet!

Was surprised as soon as I walked into reception;I was met by a young man with an enthusiastic demeanor. He instantly made me feel less anxious about in choosing this new provider for a serious condition that plagues me. Within minutes Chelsea took me back to the appointment room and was very courteous and efficient in her duties. The doctor was in Within a few minutes with a smile and outstretched hand. He was equipped with my records, familiar with my case and demonstrated active listening skills. His suggestions and summary were supported by facts not wild guesses that made sense to me. One thing I appreciated was his explanations to all my questions were intelligent and patient. He showed no disregard for my inquisitiveness about my health. Overall, it was an outstanding doctor's visit. I have no hesitancy in returning to nor recommending this doctor and the support staff. 5

Too soon to tell, my first visit with this new provider! Just a meet and greet. My last pulmonologist referred me. Because I didn't like his office location. I didn't feel safe.

I love this provider. I feel like he cares about me. He goes over all of my records. Explains everything to me and has excellent bedside manners. That's hard to find these days.

When 1st referred to Dr. Grund yrs. ago, he was somewhat distant. But over the yrs. we have developed an excellent dr./patient relationship.

  Jul 11, 2022
I wasn't able to make an appointment before 3 months, even though calling to try to schedule sooner for a severe medical condition was asked to reschedule appt. in 3 months no available open appt. "we will send you a letter in a couple weeks."

Nothing bad. Dr. Grund more thoroughly talked asthma vs. the COPD. I was afraid before I came to see him & very relieved by the time I left.
