Tobi de Goede, M.S., CCC-SLP holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. Tobi brings to Legacy a diverse range of professional experiences: Bilingual cognitive-linguistic therapy at a Neuropsychological Outpatient clinic in Ecuador; Inpatient Acute Care at Portland VA Hospital; Inpatient Sub-Acute Care at Legacy RIO; and finally, to Outpatient Rehabilitation at Legacy Meridian Park. Tobi’s therapeutic philosophy is that patient-centered care and collaborative goal setting are the key to effective treatment and meaningful, functional results. Her professional interests include: Bilingual Aphasia, Transgender Voice Modification Therapy, Stroke Rehabilitation, Acquired Brain Injury, and Post-Concussive Syndrome. Hobbies include costume design/construction, singing karaoke, spending time with her dog, listening to podcasts, and going to Portland Thorns games.
