About Me:

Dr. Bennett, Medical Director of Transplantation and Director of Renal Research, is an expert in kidney transplantation. Currently Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology. He has more than 460 peer-reviewed publications to his credit and has contributed to 170 books and chapters. He serves on numerous advisory boards. Dr. Bennett is a Master of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and past president. Dr. Bennett has been honored for his contributions to the medical profession, including the Polycystic Kidney Research Foundation Jared J. Grantham Distinguished Achievement Award, the Belding Scribner Award of the American Society of Nephrology, the Kidney Association of Oregon First Gift of Life Award and the Medical Research Foundation of Oregon Discovery Award and Prize. He is a nationally ranked top physician by Portlands Top Doctors, Americas Top Doctors and Best Doctors in America.
