About Me:

My passion for midwifery was first sparked in my early twenties when I witnessed the incredible work of community midwives in marginalized communities as a college student in Brazil and later as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mozambique. Before becoming a midwife, I served as a doula and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at the Oregon Health & Science University. I am dedicated to empowering people in their sexual and reproductive health decisions, and ensuring they and their partners/families feel informed and supported throughout their journey. As a native Oregonian (originally from a small town in Douglas county), I am proud to serve the great people of the Pacific Northwest. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my partner, two daughters, and dog. My other hobbies include gardening, biking, cooking, hot yoga, traveling, and exploring the Portland food scene.
