Determined Salmon Creek Nurse defies the odds to pursue her dream
April 23, 2018
She was just nine years old when Christina Gay was given the chance of a lifetime - free college tuition if she promised to stay in school. Christina was one a handful of schoolchildren selected in a program called, "I have a dream." What she didn't know then, 20 years ago, was how hard it would be, to reach her dreams of becoming a nurse.
Nothing, not even cancer has gotten in her way. She recently told her story to the Columbian Newspaper. To read about this remarkable nurse at Legacy Salmon Creek, click here.
