New Interfaith Chapel at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center
Over a decade in the making, a new Interfaith Chapel is now open at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. The chapel is a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds and faith traditions to find solitude for pause, prayer, reflection and meditation. The space has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible to all. Thematic elements of the chapel focus on the all-inclusive themes of nature, life and the cycles of both.

Jordan was a shooting star and a scholar athlete. But, he found himself in a mental health crisis. Though Jordan ultimately lost his battle, he and his family received compassionate and personalized treatment at Unity Center for Behavioral Health.

Teddy beat the odds
When Madelyn and Gabe Heredia learned they would need to deliver their baby at 27 weeks, they were told there was about a 10% chance the baby would survive. Determined baby Teddy showed 100% resilience to defy those odds.
