Patient Rating

Legacy wants every patient to have great care, every time. To help measure and improve patient satisfaction, we send surveys to randomly selected patients after their appointments. We use this feedback from the surveys to improve and enhance the care we offer. It works like this: Real patients give us feedback through Press Ganey, a patient satisfaction survey company. They verify and confirm the results. National Research Corporation, an independent company, provides the technology to show the ratings and comments on our website

I had only excellent experience with the doctor and office. I also thought his office was beautiful, and the doctor, attendants and nurses very helpful and friendly.

I appreciated seeing my xray and mri (previously done) and was relieved to know I did not have a tear in my ACL just need physical therapy. Also was happy to know my growth plates are not sealed and I will grow more. Had a good experience at the appointment.

Dr. was very dismissive, interrupted me while I was talking just kept saying you shouldn't have pain. Kept comparing me to all patients. He would not listen just wanted to group me in with every other patient or procedure. All patients injuries are not the same.

I took my child to Dr. Bederka for broken ankle. Wait in office INTERMINABLE - 1.5 hrs. one day, never less than 30-60 min. on other visits. Nurses great, receptionist rude - when I'd waited 1.5 hrs. she told me the doctor's schedule was the priority and if I wasn't willing to wait I should leave. Without my insistence, would never have actually seen doc - Was shuttled to his PA @ each appt. Asked if we could get PT referral and doc said, "if you really want one, but it probably doesn't matter." Sought 2nd opinion & shared MRI results w/office - Dr. Bederka never looked @ MRI results, patient care coordinator told me that if I was going to take my child to see someone else, "this office had no responsibility to review test results done elsewhere." When I was straightforward w/Dr. Bederka that we'd consulted w/a podiatrist who would provide follow-up & supervise physical therapy, (after Dr. Bederka said he'd release my son from orthopedic care/follow-up). I was told that if I refused to pick & stick w/one doc I'd be jeopardizing my child's health. [Detail removed to protect privacy] and this is the worst care I've ever encountered. We will NEVER use this clinic again.

Just felt like they didn't want my research re: injury to be correct. Instead dx a preexisting issue rather than why I came in.

Dr. Bederka and the staff were awesome. Answered any questions I had and were pleasant while doing so. While I'm not exactly happy that I have to see them because of my injury, I'm glad that they'll be the ones helping me!

he didn't embarrass me. I hurt myself in my knee somewhere and how it happened he understood. he and his assistant were so professional they had time for humor. I like those guys. I hope when the mri comes back it will be just as they said. I trust them. a little minor surgery and I can kneel down again.

Our experience with this provider was disappointing. he did not listen to my concern as the parent of his patient , he was very dismissive of me and my concerns. when he asked my son ( his patient) questions he never let him finish his answer and talked over him. I would not bring my son or any of my children to him for care again. I feel that if you are a provider working with children you should be patient and kind and have the decency to listen to them and hear what they have to say.
