About Me:

Claire Gould, MD, is passionate about providing women with minimally invasive options to treat a large number of gynecologic disorders. She joined Legacy Health after serving 12 years in the United States Air Force as an Ob/GYN. During her time in the service, Dr. Gould was part of the core teaching faculty at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and received multiple awards recognizing her dedication to teaching. Dr. Gould is fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Endoscopy through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She performs minimally invasive procedures and has advanced skills in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, fertility optimization and robotic surgery. While born and raised in Texas, Dr. Gould is excited to return to the Pacific NW. In her spare time, Dr. Gould enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr Gould is very knowledgeable and listens carefully to any health concerns. The MA was friendly and helpful with obtaining an urgent appointment for a follow up mammogram.

I waited about 5 minutes to get a room and about 10 minutes for the doctor. The doctor was incredibly kind and understanding and throughly explained everything she was talking about. I felt respected and trusted this doctors opinion and feel safe having her as my surgeon. I would recommend her to anybody struggling with endometriosis.

Dr Gould is lovely ! Professional and wonderful. I needed to see her as a follow up and her clinic hours are limited that are closer to my home vs driving to down town portland. That's my choice but waited longer time to see her due to location.

Dr. Gould listened to everything I said and used that information to create a plan and offer me help. She was very detailed and allowed me to ask questions. She was respectful of my past sexual trauma and made me feel very safe during the physical exam.

Everyone treated me with respect and kindness, carefully listened to my concerns and were professional from the moment of encounter. They are to be commended and acknowledged for the superb work they are all doing. It is apparent that this team genuinely cares about their profession and patients. My previous OBGYN was not the best when it came to concerns about my family history and my health connected to that. So I was very nervous about seeing a new doctor but she was absolutely amazing. I felt truly connected with her and she gave me so much information which was a first for me. She is is the best OBGYN ever and I appreciate her so much!

The question on follow up with lab results is not a fair reflection of the service, because this was the first time I saw Dr Gould and the blood test was only ordered and done yesterday, so I had to answer never.

Love Dr. Gould. Worked with her in the OR for many years and her skills, compassion to her patients and staff goes above and beyond. Good educator to staff. Everyone at both of her clinics are well prepared, professional and kind. Best gyn I've ever been too. Dr. Gould helped me though an incredibly upsetting time with my previous gynecologist. I felt so lucky to see her and have her take her time to talk with me even though I wasn't her patient at the time. I was seeing a NP and she spoke with Dr. Gould and the rest is history. She helped save me from a mental health breakdown 10+ stars for every one there.

Dr. Gould is an incredible provider. I have raved about her for years after my very first visit with her was filled with her listening intently to my concerns and teaching me how to advocate for myself in women's health. She continues to always care for my opinion on my care and includes me in my plan of care. She is such an asset to the medical field and women's health in particular.

Dr. Gould is an amazing provider. She always seems to remember my history and what we talked about even months ago. She was early to get me into my appointment and is very compassionate and easy to understand. I always leave our visits feeling like I have good clarity about my decisions and direction.

My time to arrive was at 10 AM . I did. My time for procedure was 10:45. I was not aware that the time gap would be this long. For my next visit I'll know and bring reading material. I would have appreciated knowing for this visit. Thank you.

I don't feel that I received the thorough examination that I scheduled myself for. The assistant didn't appear to know what my needs were when she brought me to the exam room. Not enough time was spent with me. My vital signs were not completely and accurately taken.

Good - great provider. Thoughtful, listened well, knowledgeable Opportunity for improvement - the parking validation that the clinic gave me was "expired" per the gate machine. I had to speak with gate agent to help me.

Communication with the office prior to the visit was not good. It was not clearly communicated that I needed to go to the medical office in a different location, so I showed up to my normal office without enough time to get across town.

Your My Health website needs some work. I was unable to check in for this appointment online, despite being encouraged to do so. When the website prompted me to verify my cell phone number, the screen froze and I could not get beyond this glitch to check in despite several re-tries.

Dr. Gould is the best provider I have ever seen and I feel lucky she is my doctor. She listens, she is empathetic, she explains what she is doing during an exam, and she asks questions. I have seen many doctors over the years for my health and Dr. Gould is by far the best provider I have seen. I recommend her to my peers often.

Dr Gould and staff were amazing. I was extremely anxious for this appt for some pretty serious health issues. Dr Gould had such a great bedside manner, I felt instantly relieved once she began speaking. She was very caring and thorough. She Spent time explaining things to me. I think this was the best 1st doctors appt I have ever had. Now if we could just clone her:)
