Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center hosts World Diabetes Day event for the public
On Thursday, November 14, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m., Legacy Salmon Creek diabetes experts and a host of community partners are hosting a health fair to share information on living healthy with diabetes. The event includes healthy cooking and exercise demonstrations, presentations, free samples, education and more for the whole family.

When: Thursday, November 14*, 2019, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Why: This event is to focus on diabetes and to highlight ways to discover, prevent and manage diabetes for the whole family. Every eight seconds someone dies from diabetes. Complications can be avoided in all types of diabetes with good management, awareness, education and care.
