People experiencing a psychiatric emergency can’t always get the help they need, when they need it. Emergency Departments are crowded and inadequate for treating these issues. Too often mental health issues go untreated, which can lead to homelessness, loss of employment, damaged relationships, incarceration and suicide. It's time to change that.

The right care at the right time

As the first behavioral health center of its kind in the region, the Unity Center for Behavioral Health is becoming a national model for providing compassionate mental health care in times of crisis.

Through an unprecedented collaboration between Adventist Health, Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Health and Oregon Health & Science University, we are a 24-hour behavioral and mental health services center located in the greater Portland metropolitan area.

We provide immediate psychiatric care and a path to recovery for people experiencing a mental health crisis. Our care navigators create and coordinate ongoing care plans for continuing treatment, with the goal that every individual walks out the door with a recovery plan already in motion. With this dual approach, we offer true hope for a future free from mental and behavioral health trauma for our patients.

Classic Wines Auction partners with the Unity Center for Behavioral Health

We are proud the Unity Center for Behavioral Health was one of five beneficiaries of the 2018 Classic Wines Auction. Classic Wines Auction is one of the largest wine auction charity events in the U.S., hosting more than 800 guests each year. Funds raised from the Classic Wines Auction will help us continue to transform lives. As our region's first-of-its-kind facility, the Unity Center pairs emergency psychiatric care with a path to recovery. To learn more, click here.
