At Legacy Health, we know that women who struggle with drugs or alcohol while pregnant need support to have a healthy pregnancy.
Our midwives are kind and experienced in caring for pregnant women living with addiction. We offer you prenatal care and connect you with treatment in a supportive setting, without judgment.
Programs to support you
Programs that can support you are below:
- Legacy Medical Group–Midwifery in Portland offers Project Nurture. This is a treatment program with care before birth and parenting support for the first year after delivery.
- For members of the Oregon Health Plan in Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties, The MOMS Program helps pregnant women at risk of substance abuse. The MOMS Program aims to give pregnant women the tools to stay clean and sober during and after pregnancy.
- Family Building Blocks helps children and families in Marion and Polk counties.
All Legacy hospitals offer a Family Birth Center for you and your family. The centers feature a comfortable, home-like atmospheres with access to advanced technology and the help and support of our team of specialists.
