About Me:

Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse, Ashley served many years as a critical care and periansthesia nurse and holds specialty certifications in both perianesthesia and pain management nursing. She was awarded a UCSF Clinical Nursing Research grant and served as a principal investigator in a multidisciplinary, retrospective study investigating patient variables associated with the administration of postoperative subanesthetic-dose ketamine infusions in the post-anesthesia care unity. She is passionate about provider a patient-centered, collaborative approach to pain management that ensures the treatment plan is tailored to the patient's specific medical needs, while also aligning with their values and functional goals of care. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys visiting the coast, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and staying connected with her family, friends and community.
