Dr. Khwaja is a board-certified neurologist. A medical graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, she completed a neurology residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and a fellowship in sleep medicine at Vanderbilt University. Her clinical interests include stroke, nerve and muscle diseases, neuropathy, Alzheimers disease and dementia, epilepsy, headaches and migraines, multiple sclerosis, restless leg syndrome, obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia and other sleep disorders. It has been challenging trying to find the right medication to deal with my sleep issues. It has been a 2 1/2 year process, and we still do not have the answer.

I was sent new patient paperwork and an online questionnaire in advance of my visit so all I needed to do when I came for my appointment was sign it, pay my co-pay, then wait to be called back, which I was was in a surprising short time. The nurse who showed me to my patient room was nice and easy to talk to, which I appreciated. The doctor came in very soon after the nurse left, and she talked me through my medical history, addressed my concerns, and together we came up with a comprehensive plan of action that was best for me and my medical needs. I left feeling listened to and helped. I was very impressed and pleased with the entire staff, and the process.

The doctor was knowledgeable, straightforward, and listened to my concerns. She had suggestions, but was willing to modify them to meet my desire to move ahead quickly.

Service from the beginning I received excellent care at this facility. I was referred by my PCP and every referral has been addressed and done in a very timely manner.

routine yearly check up for my cpap machine, sleep study shows everything is good, she was pleased and asked questions concerning my sleep habits, great visit no concerns

After checking in, I waited less than 5 minutes to be seated in a medical room. The doctor was prompt, polite and helpful.

My doctor is great. How long it took for me to get from making an appointment for a consult about sleep apnea to the time I actually got the CPAP was far too long. It took 3 months. Other clinics are faster.

I came to have a consult with Dr. Khwaja expecting to walk away with the gear to evaluate my possible sleep apnea. I waited a month for this appointment only to be told I need to wait another week or two in order to get the equipment needed. there has to be a way to shorten the time it takes to get this part of the process done. We knew what I was there for and more than likely knew I would need equipment or a stay. Is it possible the office could have been ready to send me to one of a couple options in order to shorten the timeline? 6 weeks just for an evaluation is one of the failures our medical systems are facing. it should take that long. I can't think of any good reason for the length of time waiting. maybe you could explain why and things might be different for me but until then this is much too long of a wait.

I waited at the front desk for a receptionist to appear for 10-15 mins to check in. Finally someone came to the nearby desk, but did not acknowledge me standing there. I had to ask if I could check in, and then she assisted me. I was then told by the person who took me to the exam room that I checked in just in time to avoid a late arrival fee. I couldn't believe they were under the impression that I had arrived late, when in truth there was noone at the front desk to check me in.
