About Me:

His clinical interests include comprehensive breast cancer care, risk-reducing strategies for patients at increased risk of breast and gynecologic cancers, nipple preservation, and techniques to preserve sensation after breast surgery. With training spanning both gynecology and breast surgical oncology, Dr. May has a special interest in caring for patients whose breast and gynecologic health intersect, including those navigating hereditary cancer risk, contraception, fertility, menopause, sexual health, and the long-term effects of cancer treatment. Outside of work, Dr. May enjoys exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, CrossFit, and spoiling his two French bulldogs.

Training: Dr. May received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he graduated with AOA honors. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Duke University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident before pursuing fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
