About Me:
Prior to joining Legacy Medical Group, Dr Abraham was the Director of the Aortic Program at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) and a Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, since 2015. Prior to that, he was an assistant Professor of Surgery and a practicing vascular and endovascular surgeon at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr Abraham is one of the world's most experienced Aortic surgeons. He has special expertise in repairing complex aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections with both minimally invasive endovascular approaches, as well as conventional open surgery when indicated. In 2009, Dr Abraham performed the world's first branched endovascular graft for aortic arch aneurysm, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada. He has trained and proctored vascular surgeons, cardiac surgeons, and interventional radiologists throughout the world in complex endovascular aortic intervention, including in the United States, Colombia, Brazil, and Australia.
