About Me:

Claire Gould, MD, is passionate about providing women with minimally invasive options to treat a large number of gynecologic disorders. She joined Legacy Health after serving 12 years in the United States Air Force as an Ob/GYN. During her time in the service, Dr. Gould was part of the core teaching faculty at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and received multiple awards recognizing her dedication to teaching. Dr. Gould is fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Endoscopy through the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She performs minimally invasive procedures and has advanced skills in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, fertility optimization and robotic surgery. While born and raised in Texas, Dr. Gould is excited to return to the Pacific NW. In her spare time, Dr. Gould enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

This was the first time I met Dr. Gould and she was the best GYN provider I've ever had. I'm so glad I found her!

Your My Health website needs some work. I was unable to check in for this appointment online, despite being encouraged to do so. When the website prompted me to verify my cell phone number, the screen froze and I could not get beyond this glitch to check in despite several re-tries.

Dr. Gould is the best provider I have ever seen and I feel lucky she is my doctor. She listens, she is empathetic, she explains what she is doing during an exam, and she asks questions. I have seen many doctors over the years for my health and Dr. Gould is by far the best provider I have seen. I recommend her to my peers often.

Dr Gould and staff were amazing. I was extremely anxious for this appt for some pretty serious health issues. Dr Gould had such a great bedside manner, I felt instantly relieved once she began speaking. She was very caring and thorough. She Spent time explaining things to me. I think this was the best 1st doctors appt I have ever had. Now if we could just clone her:)

Dr. Gould took time before the procedure to introduce herself, answer questions, outline the procedure and put me at ease. Although the clinic was ultra-busy' everyone treated me patiently. I thank them for that.

Professional and respectful. I was given all the information needed to make an educated decision on my treatment and I wasn't belittled like my previous Dr. Dr. Gould was great and honest with what she could and couldn't do. I wish all would be like her!

I have had a need to see physicians often for a long term problem. NEVER have I had such a positive experience as I did at Dr. Gould's office. From the front desk to the MAs, to Alison, the US technician, to Dr. Gould, everyone was professional and caring. My ultrasound was shown and explained to me. This has never happened. When Dr. Gould first met with me she thoroughly explained my options for both of my concerns. After the ultrasound was finished, she again came into the room to discuss the results and ask if I had further questions. I have truly never felt so cared for and respected. An extremely positive experience.

Dr. Gould was incredible. I had extremen anxiety surrounding my appointment for an IUD removal and placement. She went above and beyond to encourage me and make sure the appointment was as comfortable as possible. She empowered me and made me feel seen and heard. She didn't minimize my anxiety like a lot of providers have in the past and she treated me with kindness and respect. She made something incredibly scary feel ok.

The intake nurse was very pleasant to talk with. Doctor Gould was very knowledgeable and good at communicating information to me in a way I understood. You can tell she does thorough research that would be beyond standard. She was kind and answered all of my questions in detail. Other gynecologists I have been to made me feel rushed and had multiple people in the room. Claire Gould took her time and wrote her own notes just her and I were talking. She really listened to my concerns. She presented me with multiple good treatment options. She was considerate with my concerns and offered to answer any more questions I thought of on the portal. I am excited to have her as a doctor.

Allison, the ultrasound technician, was not only friendly and courteous, she was very good at explaining the procedure and used excellent analogies to make the outcomes more understandable.

Dr. Gould is the first doctor that has made me feel truly heard about women's health issues in my entire life. She didn't discount any of the information I referenced from either my own experience OR from various online resources, and for the first time in my adult life I feel hopeful that I have a plan for managing a health issue I've dealt with for over 20 years.

Was schedule for different office location than told. Had to rush in traffic to get to downtown location. Staff on duty were very helpful but experienced a lot of stress. My appointment was very good even with mixup in location
