About Me:

Dr. Donovan received her medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN and completed her General Surgery Residency at OHSU in Portland, OR. She then completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She is board certified in General Surgery. Her special interests include helping patients navigate a new breast cancer diagnosis, monitoring high-risk patients, addressing the needs of special populations with breast cancer, and oncoplastic breast surgery. She enjoys discussing a patient’s goals before beginning any treatment and tailoring care to each person’s lifestyle. Outside of work, Dr. Donovan enjoys hiking and running slowly in the forest, cooking surprising meals on a camp stove, and spending time with her daughter.

There aren't enough characters available here to describe how wonderful Dr Donovan is. She made me (and my husband) feel welcomed. She explained things clearly (including drawings), told me what was ahead, why things are done the way they are, and what options I had. I came with a long list of questions, and she answered them all. Both my husband and I were impressed with how she communicated everything and how she took so much time to make sure we were OK. I left the appointment feeling like I had a good understanding of what's going on, and I felt like things were under control because I could trust her. Feeling cared for is a big deal when you have a cancer diagnosis, and Dr Donovan wins the prize for caring.

Dr. Donovan is amazing! She explains everything very well, and listens to all my questions and concerns. She puts you at ease, and I'm glad she is my Dr / Surgeon. I feel very positive and well cared for, during this scary diagnosis.

Dr Donovan is the best doctor I have ever had. Her skill in meeting my physical needs is matched by her skill in understanding and meeting my emotional needs. What a gift when going through cancer to find a doctor who acknowledges the intensity of the emotional experience. This skill of hers puts me at ease and allows me to move through physical procedures with confidence Instead of uncertainty and fear. Dr Donovan is a gift. A true healer.

The compassion and respect that I received from Dr. Donovan helped me tremendously. In fact I would prefer another follow up even though it isn't medically necessary just to talk things through with her. She was very informative, real, and caring.

From point of suspected cancer to confirmation and total excision, only two months passed, delayed only because of three national holidays. At every turn, I was met by confident, knowledgeable, and skilled staff. I am well today because of the concern for my overall physical & mental health.

Cory Donovan is the most caring doctor I have ever seen. I went to other doctors for the same condition who didn't want to answer my questions thoroughly. Dr. Donovan explained everything that was happening to me and what the implications were. She empowered me to feel good about the decisions I was making about my health. Everyone in her office is kind and supportive. They got me in for an initial appointment in less than a week when I was reeling in despair from a cancer diagnosis. I am grateful that I found Dr. Donovan.

Dr Donovan is the best oncology surgeon possible. She is kind, empathetic , knowledgeable and a top notch surgeon. Legacy Is fortunate to have her. There are not enough positive adjectives to use for her. She stays with you at a very difficult time.

In my breast cancer journey, Dr Donovan and her team have been the highlight. Skilled, warm, knowledgable, caring, gets the job done, They've done all of the heavy lifting (initial contact after diagnosis, two surgeries and follow up). I certainly hope you can bottle whatever magic is happening at Dr Donovan's office and the rest of Legacy as the merger happens.

From the moment you walk into Dr. Donovan's office you are treated with respect and kindness. The staff from the receptionist to the MA to the Doctor were so loving, warm, and peaceful and given the reason you go to an Oncologist office that's how you want to be treated. The office was so quick with scheduling my appointments, ordering labs and getting my referrals in. Dr. Donovan was amazing, and I am so thankful she will be my Oncologist. She was knowledgeable and gave us all the information, statistics, science, and options. She was careful to listen and take into account our feelings while offering the best and safest care and treatment plan. My husband and I felt an instant connection to her and immediately felt we could trust her 100%.

This was a 6 month follow-up appointment since my lumpectomy. Dr Donovan Is thorough and listened to my concerns and addressed all my concerns with sensitivity and in a comforting way. Her recommendations are reasonable. As a cancer patient, making sure I'm making the best decisions for my health has been important. I feel I'm in great hands and appreciate the knowledge and Individual care Dr Donovan shows me.

My visit was very comfortable. I felt very respected. All the staff at this office are excellent. They are very profesional, friendly, and caring. Dr. Donovan is very special. I always feel she cares. She is excellent in every way. I was so happy to see her. I am glad my breast cancer is cured but sad I will likely not need to see her again. She is an excellent surgeon too!

Dr. Donovan was extremely knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and caring. She explained the issues I had thoroughly and discussed her thoughts and plans on moving forward with my care. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and very personable. Couldn't ask for a better health care experience. I will be recommending this office to all I know.
