always a good experience at the Mount Angel office. Everyone has been so helpful and kind for all the years I've been going there. I have nothing negative to say about them.

I stopped by the office to discuss my prescription refills because I am going out of state soon. The receptionist noticed that I had not seen my provider in almost a year. They were going to make an appointment but discovered I could see him right then and there. So it worked out really well. Normally it takes about 2-3 weeks to get an appointment with Dan.

I was seeing Charles Hyde to get an okay for a prescription that is on my medication list since my Primary is on vacation. His immediate 'diagnosis' was insomnia, even though I kept emphasizing I only use 1/2 dose maybe once a month. All I got was refusal to renew and pages of referrals to therapists, psychologists,suggestion etc. I felt his mind was closed to my feelings or thoughts and was so focused on the insomnia issue, which I don't think an occasional restless night once or twice a month or less falls in that category to the extent he insisted on pursuing. Even though I told him OTC meds hit me way too hard and linger, he still had his mind set that the 5mg of Diazapam, only 15 tabs, which I only take 1/2 at a time lasts anywhere from 3-6 months or more. and that I just needed to forget any kind of med and follow all his instructions and referrals. Side note...I was awake 1/2 the night of this visit because I was so upset with this man. I also made a future appt with Primary when he returns from vacation. He also said he suffers from insomnia. I just felt he had no empathy whatsoever.

Mr. Hyde is a caring person and myself as well as my family feel safe and comfortable in his care. he takes his time to listen to his patients', explain things well, and address any concerns or questions we may have.

Practitioner Charles Hyde always pulls out his iPhone to show me a diagram, photo, or medical illustration of what I'm in there for. he knows that's the fastest way to,get the info across and help me take charge of my own health solutions. He is direct...which I appreciate. When my cholesterol was pretty high, I feared being put on Lipator and wanted to know if 'lifestyle changes' would help me avoid the Rx solution. I asked "So....how close AM I?" and he said the 2 words that got me to shape up seriously."You're there!"

Mt. Angel Family Medicine and Family Nurse Practitioner Charles D. Hyde are so excellent, I drive[detail deleted to protect privacy] to get care from them, even though I have medical clinics all over the area where I live in [location deleted]. I have been going to Dan Hyde for about [detail deleted] and making that drive for more than five. I won't get my medical care from any other person than the best medical person around, Dan Hyde, nor any other clinic than the excellent one in Mt. Angel.

This is the best medical office in marion county, appointments are easy, the location is great and the nurse's are phenomenal. Ive never been treated better anywhere.

I was pleased to see the hand washing when he came in. Also, when I was told I could get in to see Charles Hyde, I was extremely pleased because I remembered from previous visits how thorough he was in his explanation of diagnosis and treatment plan. He is a valuable asset to Legacy Health!

I love the medical staff but the front office staff isn't always nice or helpful. I am always left feeling like I'm an inconvenience to them when I call.In person, they are generally nice enough.

I saw Dr. Hyde with short notice. I don't go to dr. often I don't believe in going to dr. for small ailments. I am busy LIVING my life.

No solution to my cold left foot problem was offered but an additional test was available if I so desired. It was suggested that the problem was not serious to my health. My painful feet problem still exists with no solution and differing causes suggested including neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and back problem related.

Practitioner Hyde has a great way of explaining what's going on...and deciphering test results. "That thing on my back?" he assured me, was not a cancerous skin lesion, but a 'Hemangioma'. a common blood vessel glitch. which he quickly pulled up on his iPhone and showed me a photo. Also...he was going over my blood panel and said something that really got my attn. Re my cholesterol count? and the possibility of needing to go on something like Lipitor? For the threshold where that would be necessary, he put it like this : "YOU'RE THERE." Since my last visit (Oct?) I have lost 15 lbs and keeping at it. Next check in is June...looking fwd to better numbers...for a change!

The Dr. treated my son [name deleted] and I with respect, I felt very comfortable asking questions, he took the time to answer all the questions I had in regards to [name deleted] ear infection, explaining the dosage of the medication he prescribed for him that day. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone.

Mr. Hyde respects my intelligence and explains things fittingly. He listens, asks good questions, and gives good answers. I have seen many primary care people, outliving many but often finding them unresponsive and less than helpful. Mr. Hyde is the best I have had in my [age deleted] years. I can and have recommended him to friends. I am discerning, skeptical, and not easily impressed. I am impressed. I am glad I found him. I do hope I will not ever have to find someone else for my primary care.

My office visit was a good experience and everything was explained to me so I could understand it. And all my tests were ordered and new prescriptions were sent to my new pharmacy.
