About Me:

Dr. Edwards was born and raised in Vermont and attended the University of Vermont for both undergraduate and medical school. She then moved to Portland for residency at Oregon Health and Science University. She joined Legacy Health in 2019 through the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery program, which has provided her expert skills in the surgical and non-surgical management of complex gynecologic patients, including robotic surgery. Dr. Edwards sees the full spectrum of women’s health including obstetrics, but has a special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and infertility.

Dr. Edward's made me feel extremely comfortable and explained all my options for treatment. She also validated my concerns immediately and believed what I said.

I would've liked a printed handout explaining my IUD - how it works, what to expect afterwards, and follow up instructions mentioned verbally during the appointment.

Dr. Edwards was very kind and gracious. She answered all my questions and was very sympathetic to my situation. She was gentle and didn't seem rushed.

This has been one of the most prompt and efficient clinic and provider I have seen. The overall experience has been extremely positive. I have not come away with a knot in my stomach or wondering what is next. I felt encouraged and looking forward to the next appointment. I feel optimistic that I'm going to take back control of my health and care. Dr. Edward's is even handling the referral to another specialist. Thank you for giving me back some control of my health Dr Edward's.

Dr. Edwards was thorough, thoughtful, and explained to me what a previous provider hadn't, and made me feel like I had more control over my medical care and body than previous providers. I am looking forward to future care with her.

I'm very grateful for Dr. Edwards' expertise and incredible bedside manner. I continually feel listened to and never rushed during my appointment. I feel like she genuinely cares about my entire well-being, which I appreciate. I love the ease of parking at this west side location too!

Dr. Edwards is so thoughtful and really listens to her patients. I always feel heard at my appointments and leave the office with a solid treatment plan. I'm happy to have Dr. Edwards as part of my healthcare team!

No one called me about my test results. Experience in person was great, but I received my test results which require follow up and no one has reached out to me. This also happened last year, so your follow up protocol needs a lot of work.

The care was far more than "very Good" The entire team is exceptional. I was able to schedule my appointment in a much shorter period of time than I expected. I greatly appreciated being able to complete my health history prior to my appointment and it was abundantly clear Dr. Edwards had taken the time to review it thoroughly. We were able to get right to the matter as she already knew my problem. Furthermore, I was highly impressed that she later consulted with a colleague to find the best method for treating my health issue. I cannot praise Dr. Edwards enough. Additionally, she is incredibly kind and personable. I am thrilled to have found a fantastic doctor!!! The gal that assisted me to the room was also incredibly kind. I felt immediately comfortable.

Dr. Edwards is a very knowledgable and empathetic provider, and I appreciate how she listens to my concerns, goes over my treatment options, and collaborates with me to create a treatment plan. However, I would appreciate less questions/insinuations regarding my mental health when I'm being seen for unrelated chronic pelvic pain with a history of endometriosis.

The only problem with Legacy is that they over charge for appts. They add extra charges for everything!

The receptionist at the front desk that helped get me checked in was incredibly friendly, fast, and helpful. She seemed very good at her job.Dr Edward's is a fantastic provider that seems to care deeply about women's health. She answered my questions thoroughly and advised me on potential next steps with my care.My only negative experience was that I don't think I was given enough time to let the pain meds kick in before getting my iud replaced, or I wasn't given strong enough medication, because it was still incredibly painful.
