About Me:

Dr. Edwards was born and raised in Vermont and attended the University of Vermont for both undergraduate and medical school. She then moved to Portland for residency at Oregon Health and Science University. She joined Legacy Health in 2019 through the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery program, which has provided her expert skills in the surgical and non-surgical management of complex gynecologic patients, including robotic surgery. Dr. Edwards sees the full spectrum of women’s health including obstetrics, but has a special interest in endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and infertility.

No one called me about my test results. Experience in person was great, but I received my test results which require follow up and no one has reached out to me. This also happened last year, so your follow up protocol needs a lot of work.

The care was far more than "very Good" The entire team is exceptional. I was able to schedule my appointment in a much shorter period of time than I expected. I greatly appreciated being able to complete my health history prior to my appointment and it was abundantly clear Dr. Edwards had taken the time to review it thoroughly. We were able to get right to the matter as she already knew my problem. Furthermore, I was highly impressed that she later consulted with a colleague to find the best method for treating my health issue. I cannot praise Dr. Edwards enough. Additionally, she is incredibly kind and personable. I am thrilled to have found a fantastic doctor!!! The gal that assisted me to the room was also incredibly kind. I felt immediately comfortable.

Dr. Edwards is a very knowledgable and empathetic provider, and I appreciate how she listens to my concerns, goes over my treatment options, and collaborates with me to create a treatment plan. However, I would appreciate less questions/insinuations regarding my mental health when I'm being seen for unrelated chronic pelvic pain with a history of endometriosis.

The only problem with Legacy is that they over charge for appts. They add extra charges for everything!

The receptionist at the front desk that helped get me checked in was incredibly friendly, fast, and helpful. She seemed very good at her job.Dr Edwards is a fantastic provider that seems to care deeply about women's health. She answered my questions thoroughly and advised me on potential next steps with my care.

We love Dr. Edwards. My husband and I appreciate the care and attentiveness of her and her staff. We are learning to navigate our first pregnancy and she has been exceptional at explaining what to expect. Her responses are always kind and supportive.

I was a bit nervous about seeing a new doctor but the experience was very positive and I felt very comfortable and satisfied with the care and knowledge of my medical history was reviewed prior to exam.

Dr. Edwards was probably one of the nicest drs I have ever seen. She was very easy to talk to and very understanding. During the exam she was very patient and kind explaining everything she did. She explained my options in an easy to understand manner. Great service from Dr. Edwards and staff!!

I've never seen Dr. Edwards before but she knew all my relevant medical history, was extremely nice and took time to answer all my questions, and gave me options for what to do with her opinions of the pros and cons.

Everyone was amazing - the desk girl, the nurse, and the doctor. Love that they were all women. I felt like I could be myself and say anything to them without judgement. Seemed like a trauma-informed office. I found a dentist office and eye place like this recently too and it's very comforting and wonderful.

Upon routine screening for an unrelated issue, it was noted that I had abnormal findings on an ultrasound. That bought me an urgent appointment with a GYN. That bought me a urgent appointment with a GYN. I had Kaiser insurance for 40 years and did not have a new GYN within the parameters of my new insurance. I had surgery last week and my surgeon recommended this OB/GYN group. I remembered hearing that Emily Edwards was an outstanding provider either from one of my patients or perhaps our paths crossed as I work in healthcare. I was so grateful for the kindness compassion, not having to wait four months to see GYN for an issue that could potentially be cancerous. I am so grateful to Dr. Edwards and her team! I look forward to having the testing done that I need and moving forward with this health issue. That was unexpected!
