About Me:

Treatment philosophy: My clinical approach is to address tissue, joint or nerve pain, and then provide strengthening, if indicated. Instructions are provided at the first appointment for a home program. As pain decreases, a functional exercise program is developed. Treatment is evidence-based; and specifically applied to each patient’s needs. Member APTA & OPTA Dr. Freshner's clinical interests include: Manual therapy approaches of Maitland, McKenzie, and Mulligan. Butler approach for treatment of chronic pain. Spinal and sacroiliac mobilization and manipulation, peripheral joint mobilization, myofascial pain treatment, Kinesio Method Taping, injured worker rehabilitation. Functional, tri-planar exercise for return to sport or recreation. Core stability training. Graston® Technique Certified provider. WorkWell provider of return-to-work & pre- employment exams. LEMC Work Conditioning Program.
