About Me:

Janelle earned bachelor’s degrees from Oregon State University in Anthropology and Oregon Health & Science University in Nursing. She received a master’s degree in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Janelle had other clinical experience in healthcare, working as a nurse in medical/surgical and labor and delivery specialties prior to becoming a nurse-midwife. She joined Legacy Emanuel Midwifery in 2024. Janelle has a special interest in providing care through shared decision making, with a focus on adolescent health, education, and physiologic birth. Outside of work, Janelle enjoys trail running, cycling, hiking, and traveling as much as possible.
