About Me:

Dr. Javier Baez is a board-certified internal medicine physician. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centered, and collaborative approach to adult health. Prior to joining Legacy, Dr. Baez practiced as a clinician-educator at the University of Cincinnati for eight years and served as Associate Program Director for the internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Baez enjoys caring for patients from all backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. He believes in combining evidence-based medicine with a personalized approach to care, helping patients make informed decisions that align with their values and health goals. He values building long-term relationships with patients and partnering with them to improve health through prevention, early detection, and data-driven medical decision-making. Outside of medicine, Dr. Baez enjoys spending time with his wife & two children, traveling, reading, playing board games, and following sports.
