this was an appointment with a specialist after GP sent me for cardiac testing so some questions did not really relate to this appointment. I had a very good experience altogether and appreciated that it was within one half hour from home which was the closest it could be.

It was all good. The only negative was my prior provider did not send in my medical records as requested by Dr. Nigro's office. Not a complaint about Dr. Nigro's office, it was the other provider's fault.

This was my first visit since I recently moved to Oregon. On this visit everyone was cordial and efficient. I was impressed with my doctor's knowledge about my history. She was easy to talk with, gave me knowledgeable information and suggested up dating further information. I was very pleased with this practice.

I did not realize it was Daylight Savings time and was an hour late! Everyone was very kind and understanding about it and rescheduled us for a few hours later in the day where there had been a cancellation. The entire visit was excellent, very professional and thorough.

My appointment time was 10:30 am, with check-in time of 10:15 am. But I arrived early, approx. 930 am, and was able to get in to see the provider early. And I was finised with the appointment by 10:10 am, at my original check-in time. So I was able to get home earlier than I had expected. MY THANKS to the STAFF and PROVIDER!

I did not see Dr. Nigro she was at the hospital and couldn't be there. I did not get this information until I was at her office.

didn't explain everything when she ordered my angiogram ended up having to go to Emanual to do it all again because Mt Hood Doctors were not quailifed to do the fix upset that i had to go through it twice, should of been given the option to go somewhere with competemt doctors that can do the whole job just not diagnose the problem

Dr. Nigro is a warm caring doctor. I enjoy visiting with her. She is attentive to my needs. She is not an alarmist and is reassuring yet realistic.

Dr. Nigro and Dr. Heung both talked to me in terms that I could understand. They explained the results of all of my tests and gave me information which let me know if any additional testing would be needed and when I might need any follow up tests. The information that I received gave me great relief. Both doctors were very professional and the information that I received was thorough.

Dr. Nigro scheduled this appointment to check my meds, and she did that. She discussed the pros and cons of the 4 prescriptions and verified the amounts of each one. She reassured me that each med has pros and cons and that she/they prescribe the best one for the patient's situation. To alleviate the dizziness and shortness of breath and occasional swelling of feet and ankles, she suggested compression socks. I was gifted by 3 pairs by my nurse-granddaughter, so she reaffirmed their value. Dr. Nigro took more time than usual during this appointment, which I greatly appreciated. It was a 3:15 p.m. time, so perhaps it was the last of the day with no more pressing her.

I am passing out, starting in January. My PCP referred me in Feb. February . 1 more time, I was referred aaaalllllll the way back in Feb because I'm losing consciousness. They couldn't get me in until yesterday, in May. They could get me in a couple weeks earlier if I was able to drive to the downtown location, roughly a 2 hour round trip drive for this disabled patient with constant pelvic pain which is worsened when sitting and is awful in the car. My mom is any hour and a half away, I only ride in the car to see her at Christmas, just the once a year. But for some reason, Gresham is nor worthy of having a second cardiologist, us patients can either wait or die waiting I guess. So I show up to the appointment it took me months to get for my loss of consciousness problem, the Dr wasn't in. "They had left me a voice message" 10 minutes before my appointment. Taking calls ands checking messages while driving is not legal, not sure why the receptionist acted like I should have gotten the message she JUST left. When I pointed out that I can't answer my cell and drive per Oregon law and also per common knowledge, she didn't say a word. So I got rescheduled... to the end of June. Stellar work guys. I mean hearts aren't that important right? Maybe by Christmas I'll actually see a provider. oh I did ask about a cancellation list since this information was not offered despite then canceling my appointment at my appointment time and despite my already lengthy wait for an appointment. Why would they offer, they have no interest in being helpful. So I am on that list. woo freaking hoo. My Dr let me choose where I wanted the referral sent, I picked legacy and then Mt. Hood legacy when I called to schedule. I chose this. It won't happen again. I use that location for all my testing and any referral I can, but not anymore. This is ridiculous. completely ridiculous.
