About Me:

Kenneth M. Leclerc, M.Ed. M.D., FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist at Legacy Medical Group. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He obtained his internal medicine internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington. He holds a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and Health Education. Dr. Leclerc is a fellow with the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. His patient care philosophy includes a partnering relationship in which both provider and patient take an active role in pursuing identified health needs. Hobbies include regular exercise, and billiards.

One of the most satisfactory medical visits I have had. Dr Leclerc was respectful, listened carefully, gave me the time needed to satisfy my issues, and gave clear and useful direction. I feel that this interaction will be a major plus for my health going forward.

Provider was great, as was the staff, but it was very disappointing that they hadn't gotten my records despite having over 2 months to do so, even in consideration of the holidays. I consider it a 50% waste of my time, which is as expensive as most doctors'.

The only complaint--the waiting room music was terrible; something you might hear in a Moroccan lounge. Something a bit more upbeat, perhaps some holiday music. Dr. LeClerc is very personable. Lena, his MA is competent and has a wonderful personality.

I was furious! I was made to wait 1-1/2 hours before seeing the doctor. I almost walked out but my daughter encouraged me to stay as I was having fainting spells. I got very very poor communication from staff who didn't seem to care that I sat in the lobby for so long. No one approached me, no one explained what was happening, I finally went to receptionist telling her I was getting angry and she walked over to a med assist who just told her the doctor was running late and it would be anytime. I then sat there another 5-10 mins then furiously asked for the officer manager who again told me it would be anytime. I then sat there another 5-10 with the lobby fulling clear of all patients because about about 20 people who came after me had been seen. I then went back to the window and started shouting about the lobby being empty and I was still there. Finally within a minute or two someone came and put me in a room, and started lecturing me on "we are doing the best we can" not really listening to me because "no they weren't doing the best they could" they completely dropped the ball on me. That lady made me more angry and I stopped talking to her so she asked if I wanted to speak with the nurse. I said Yes, and she was the first person who acted like she cared and really listened to me. We discussed the staff issues. Then the doctor came and he was nice and professional but didn't seem to care about how I had been treated.

Dr. LeCerc helped navigate through identifying what was happening with my heart. He is very kind and I was very confident about my procedures. He worked with my surgeon to make sure I had the care I needed to do the repairs needed. Thank you!

Extremely difficult to make appointments on the phone extremely difficult to get important health information on the phone coordination with other very important specialists did not happen.

Dr. Leclerc is fabulous. From the first time I met him in the hospital and yesterday for my check-up he was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He answered all my questions and we even had a good conversation about subjects beside medicine. I'd highly recommend him. Also, unfortunately I've had to spend some time in the hospital on 2 separate occasions over the last 2.5 months. On both occasions I was treated extremely well by the Dr's, Nurses, and all other staff that I encountered. I hope I don't need the hospital any time soon but if I do I know Legacy, Tualatin will take care of me. Thank you!

I'm not complaining about this, but another person might not be happy about being forgotten in the room after the doctor left. I was told that someone would be back in. After 15-20 min. I stuck my head out to let them know I was waiting.

I receive very good care from Dr. Leclerc on every visit. It's a pleasure being tended to by him. It's also a visit that is built on reassurance (given the probabilities).

Ken seemed to recognize me after nearly two years. This was a follow up after an emergency room visit. He had the ekg from the ER visit, reviewed it, decided it was fine and then spent 20 minutes or so discussing my condition and his belief that our course of management is still appropriate.

Love the doctor office staff not so much I think they are over worked. Because it is all about how many patinet they can see in a day.and how much money the can make for the hospital.They are all good people. the hospital just wants more money and do taking care about the patient.

The person at the legacy call center who set my appointment was difficult. The first person I spoke with told me I was speaking too SOFTLY. Then this person TOLD ME OFF because I was speaking too loudly which she thought was demeaning. Since I am experienced talking with difficult people, we talked it out & she finally set me up with an appointment. This experience was difficult and should not have happened.

Nurse was very good, felt very comfortable with her which is a good beginning before you see the Dr. Dr. was very thorough, addressed concerns well, had a great sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. easy to ask question we had with good answers!

My experiences with Dr. Leclerc have all been excellent. He knows his specialty (heart disease) & how to help his patient. It's up to me now to take care of myself. I do all he suggested to do to remain heart healthy.
