About Me:

Dr. Adams has interest in the treatment of pelvic floor disorders including slings for urinary leakge, botox for urge incontinence, robotic and vaginal reconstructive surgery for uterine and vaginal prolapse, and surgical treatment of vaginal fistulas. She feels it is important to focus on patient education and shared decision making to customize treatment plans that work best for each woman. Outside of work, Dr. Adams enjoys humanitarian trips, traveling, spending time at the beach with her family, running, hiking, snowboarding, and keeping up with her children and dogs.

Training: Dr. Adams earned a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. She received her medical degree from University of Vermont. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Naval Medical Center San Diego and was awarded a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Adams has additional clinical experience in San Diego, CA with Scripps Clinic Medical Group and while on active duty in the Navy at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
