About Me:

Laura Cohen, LCSW, ACSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in behavioral health program design, implementation and management. Laura has built a career developing innovative clinical programs and fostering strategic partnerships across healthcare settings. Her previous roles include leadership positions at the Multnomah County Mental Health Court and the Harris County (Houston, TX) Felony Mental Health Court, Portland’s Cascadia Health where, as Senior Director of Diversion Services, she managed large clinical teams providing care to people with significant mental health challenges and, most recently, as a child & family therapist with a social service agency. Throughout her 30+ year career, Laura has focused on designing person-centered healthcare models, implementing evidence-based interventions, and developing behavioral health diversion programs, while maintaining a strong commitment to serving diverse populations with complex behavioral health needs.
