About Me:
My primary focus in the field of speech-language pathology has been to help children and adolescents develop communication skills that have functional applications in all contexts of school, family, and community. My specialty area working with patients and families to find functional communication through augmentative communication: - Low-tech systems (communication boards, picture systems) - High-tech solutions (tablets, eye gaze systems, alternative access). - Trialing and preparing evaluation reports for insurance funding of AAC systems. Additionally, I have extensive experience and training working with children on the autism spectrum.
