About Me:

Dr. Shanan Harkness graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor of science in psychology and neurobiology in 2009. She earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa in 2013. Dr. Harkness completed her residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she was recognized for academic and clinical excellence. As an OBGYN, Dr. Harkness feels honored to walk with women through some of the most significant milestones in their lives. She enjoys being able to provide holistic care to her patients, foster close relationships with them, and empower them to make the right health decisions for themselves. She believes in using a team-based approach to medicine, where all of a woman’s doctors work together to ensure excellent care.
