About Me:

Tarah Day, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with Legacy Medical Group Surgical Oncology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Idaho State University and spent her first years as a PA specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She ultimately found Pacific Northwest winters far more tolerable than Midwestern ones and was happy to move back to her native West Coast. She joined the Surgical Oncology team in June 2021, shifted her specialty from the interior of the chest to the exterior, and now focuses on pre-operative education and assisting Dr. Donovan in the OR, as well as clinical management of benign breast conditions, and cancer survivorship. She loves connecting with her patients as real people, not simply diagnoses. Outside of work, she can be found hiking the mountains or strolling the coast with her husband and dog, trolling the internet for new recipes to try, or making post-COVID plans to travel the world.
