Patient Rating

Legacy wants every patient to have great care, every time. To help measure and improve patient satisfaction, we send surveys to randomly selected patients after their appointments. We use this feedback from the surveys to improve and enhance the care we offer. It works like this: Real patients give us feedback through Press Ganey, a patient satisfaction survey company. They verify and confirm the results. National Research Corporation, an independent company, provides the technology to show the ratings and comments on our website

Your IT department wasn't capable of resolving a video conferencing issue to allow access. Everything they suggest had already been accomplished prior to reaching out for help.

This was a virtual visit. Except for any physical contact, and the inability to take my standard vitals, it was a perfectly fine office visit.

The provider not only related to me as a "patient" but also related to me on a human level. This was appreciated and helped me to look at my new lease on life differently.

I always received excellent care at Legacy Transplant offices. Dr. Le is great but haven't developed a rapport with her like the others so felt a bit disconnected. But she was thorough and very knowledgeable.

slow down, talk with patient about issues don't just read lab results and if everything is good don't assume there's not other issues that need to be talked about like side effects from meds. when talking about possible med changes let patient know timelines of how long they would need to be on new meds to see if it's better and let them make the decision. Also keep in mind how long patient had been bringing up same issues, by saying you would recommend keeping things the same way as long as labs are good puts a lot of pressure on the patient to not try other options that are available and can be tried to minimize side effects of meds. if all is going well I don't see the point in the yearly follow up it is treated as such a brief check up and the clinic is not really into treating the whole person just reading the lab results. as long as your under the care of a regular nephrologist and again all is well I don't see the point of the yearly appt.. After such a long time in between seeing each other it seems like a unnecessary appointment, you defer what you consider any non-kidney issues to the PCP, you didn't call to notify me of test results that came in after my appointment nor did you call to follow up on how I'm doing on the new medication. After discussing switching one medication and how that was a struggle I didn't really feel like discussing any of my other concerns plus you seemed ready to wrap things up so the face to face appointment really just throws off my regular appointments with my regular nephrologist that I see more often and knows what's going on with me as a whole person. none of that is meant to be offensive I just feel like of it's just a simple follow up you could monitor my lab results electronically and if you have any issues with them call. At least let it be an option to opted out of the yearly office visit, or allow more time for these appointments to listen to the patient make changes as needed and end the appointment with any needed action and follow up items for things needing to be addressed by both patient and doctor.
