Vilma Rangel is a dual-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She earned her nursing education, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the University of Texas in Brownsville before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Midwestern State University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Maryville University. Throughout her career, Vilma has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including behavioral health, medical-surgical nursing, hemodialysis, long-term care, and quality management, bringing a broad perspective to the care she provides. Vilma approaches patient care with empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in each individual's goals and outcomes. She believes in listening closely to patients' concerns and providing care that is personalized, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for human dignity.
