About Me:
Dr. Hong is a board-certified, fellowship-trained bariatric and minimally invasive surgeon. Dr. Hong earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and master’s degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency in General surgery at Stanford Health. She then went on to fellowship training at Kaiser South Sacramento. Her clinical specialty is in laparoscopic and robotic foregut and anti-reflux procedures, hernia repairs and bariatric procedures including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and single anastomosis duodenal switch (SADI). She is an active member of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Outside of work, Dr. Hong enjoys traveling with her family.
