Dr. Corey Henderson Trujillo was born in Santa Cruz, CA and raised in Chico, CA. She earned a degree in communication at San Diego State University and a post-baccalaureate degree in microbiology at California State University, Chico. She went on to obtain a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and then went on to study medicine at Rocky Vista University. She recently completed her residency at Legacy Salmon Creek in 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and traveling to the coast as often as possible.
