Dr. Deering's practice focuses predominantly on adults. She also directs the Transitional Year Resident Program at Legacy and enjoys teaching medical students and residents. Dr. Deering is a wonderful provider. Because of the seriousness of my situation she got me in much sooner than originally assigned which made a world of a difference in my care! I appreciate her very much!

I haven't seen Dr Deering often but I have always received excellent care. She truly listens, doesn't rush, explains things clearly and offers options for care and treatment and doesn't try to push anything. I would, and have, recommended her to others.

I travel 70 miles round trip to see my provider...because I am so pleased with my care with her at this office. I would drive however far to maintain this relationship.

The apparent closure of the in-house lab facility is very inconvenient. Having to make a second appointment along with extra travel to the Phlebotomist Lab at Emanuel Legacy Hospital is often troublesome for seniors like me.One of the reasons I originally chose Legacy Clinic as my medical provider & have continued the service for the past 16 years, was the fact, I could minimize travel around greater Portland to complete medical requirements set by my primary care physician.

Intelligence, integrity, empathy, and humanity with the ability to truly listen are integral elements throughout this practice. Cannot remember any "bad" experiences.

Dr. Deering and I are a team/the other support staff can be iffy due to staff shortages. These shortages does affect waiting times, respect responses and other misunderstandings however my primary needs are adequately taken care of by Dr. Deering.

Much difficulty with getting to the following "virtual" appt. Office had trouble getting in and setting up through the "link".I cannot do "Virtual" appointments by myself !!

Dr. Deering is fantastic! I've never before had a physician who is as caring and sensitive as she is. She carefully listens to my concerns, respects my healthcare preferences, and takes the time to answer my questions in a way that I can easily understand. She's the best!
