Opthalmology Glaucoma
Fellowship Programs
Ophthalmology glaucoma
The Glaucoma Clinical Fellowship at Legacy Health provides training in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma beyond the standards of a general ophthalmology residency. Fellows gain clinical experience at Devers Eye Institute through exposure to and management of a large number of glaucoma patients within a tertiary care referral practice.
The glaucoma fellow participates in both clinical and basic research through the Discoveries in Sight program at the Legacy Research Institute. Therapeutic interventions extend beyond the typical interventions of a general ophthalmologist and include all surgical therapies for glaucoma, as well as medical interventions.
The fellowship is a personal, preceptor-oriented fellowship offered to suitable candidates with an academic/clinical interest in glaucoma and glaucoma research.
