About Me:

Amish Desai, MD, FACC, is medical director of Cardiology at Legacy Health. He is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology, and joined Legacy in 2015 after working in Seattle since 2005. He has a special interest and expertise in emerging technologies and structural heart disease, the catheter-based treatment of valvular heart disease, and stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation. He has participated in numerous clinical trials in interventional cardiology in the past 10 years. He believes in community outreach, education, and collaboration with other health care providers. He feels strongly about spending time with patients and their families to help them arrive at a sound health care decision. He enjoys cycling, skiing, tennis and soccer with his wife, 3 daughters and golden doddle, Ollie.
