About Me:

Dr. Miles grew up in Southern California and attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received her BA in Sociolegal Studies. After college, she worked for two years as an Emergency Medical Technician before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. She completed a one-year post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, and went on to earn her medical degree and Masters in Public Health at Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University in 2010, and stayed on at Stanford for a two-year fellowship in Family Planning. During fellowship she focused her research on contraception for women after bariatric surgery, and also received further training in reproductive health law and womens health policy. Dr. Miles is committed to providing comprehensive care for all women as they navigate lifes joys and challenges from adolescence to the golden years.
