About Me:

I was inspired to become a midwife after an empowering experience during the birth of my third child. I realized that birth can be a life changing event and wanted to make a difference in the lives of women and families. My journey into obstetrics began as a labor and delivery nurse and continued as I pursued further education. I graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing and specialty in Midwifery. My special interests include natural child birth, water birth, contraception, teen pregnancy, women’s health, and mental health. I am passionate about providing obstetric and gynecologic care to women throughout their lifespan. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, outdoor activities, and yoga.

Christin Trost was the midwife I saw throughout my entire pregnancy. She was amazing and helped me through some of the hardest moments in my life. To this day, she is still one of the most caring people I know. She genuinely cares about myself and my daughter. She asks questions - never makes me feel ashamed or embarrassed. She listens. And she lets me cry with her. She goes out of her way for her patients. When I was pregnant, I missed one of my appointments due to some severe depression. She reached out and offered to meet with me or do a telephone call even after her clinic shift while she was working at the hospital. I cannot say enough good things about her. I am so thankful I chose her for my pregnancy and so blessed to continue to receive my care with her now. I couldn't have done it all without her!

Christin Trost is an amazing provider! Previously when going to a healthcare appointments I was very nervous and never left feeling better. Good or bad I am never nervous to see her and feel calm, happy and secure after every appointment. Hands down she is the best provider I have ever had!
