About Me:

Christina W. Lee, MD, FRCS(C) is a dual board-certified surgeon in surgical oncology and general surgery in both Canada and the United States. She obtained her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. This was followed by general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin that included two dedicated years of basic science research investigating the role of gut immunity in cancer. She then completed a surgical oncology fellowship at the University of British Columbia in her hometown, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Dr. Lee is dedicated to supporting her patients along the entire cancer continuum, and explores the dynamic between surgeon, patient and palliative care health systems through qualitative research methods. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys running, hiking, yoga, reading, and traveling.
