About Me:

Christine was born & raised in South Korea, moving to Los Angeles in the 6th grade. She started working as an RN in 2013 at White Memorial Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles, in a step-down unit with Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification, floating to ICU and CCU. While working as an RN, she went back to school part-time to obtain her FNP After completing her FNP in 2018, Christine worked in primary care: first in a rural health clinic in Depoe Bay, then with Providence in Hillsboro. Christine's interest in nursing is rooted in a desire to help and care for people. Over her time as a nurse, she came to recognize the patient encounter as a profoundly sacred space—one in which she's granted the unique privilege of entering people’s lives at their some of most vulnerable moments. This motivated Christine to become an NP- so she can give back. Christine recognizes that her strong background in family medicine has given her a strong foundation in caring
